I wonder if anyone had a good luck getting Blu-Ray movies from Blockbuster online?
I had no luck so far.
1) they made extremely difficult to pick Blu-Ray titles. Even when you browse Blu-Ray section and add a movie to your query you'll get just a regular DVD. You have to select all editions and pick blu-ray disc from there.
2) they will send you another non blu-ray movie if you have it in query even when selected Blu-Ray discs are available
4) I have 9 Blu-ray titles in query three of which are available and they didn't send me anything today even though they've received my movie recently
Are there any places in Vancouver WA (or Portland, OR) where you can rent Blu-Ray discs? If I won't get a Blu-Ray rental this week I'm returning my PS3...
I just signed up for the FREE trial, and no BD movies seem to be available for me either...
I orginally thought your same thoughts, but its not the case.
Go online and browse collection > Blu-ray
Then you can view all the blu-ray titles they have. I just signed up and just got my first two blu-rays from them. After that I took one down to my local blockbuster and got another one for free + they sent out my next movie in my queue!
Only issue is the blockbuster online program is relatively new, especially the blu-ray section and most all blu-rays have waiting periods on them.

I got frustrated with BB Online and Blu-ray rentals, so I went back to Netflix. I now get the movies I want without having to wait months before they're available.

Same here...they messed up my BD and HD DVD rentals for five weeks in a row. I went back to netflix and am very happy. Netflix allows you prioritize your formats. Like BD then HD DVD and then DVD. It was cool because one warner movie (I forget which one off the top of my head) was a short wait so they gave me the option of changing it in the queue to HD DVD which had no wait. The only thing I liked about BlockBusted was their in store return policy and free game rental, but not even that was worth the headache inducing incompitence.

I agree. That is why I created this thread with direct links that add the Blu-ray title to your queue. I hope it helps. :)

I'm a few days away from my free trial expiring. I think I've had approx. 30 BRs in my queue and I've only recieved 2 discs. It took 5 days for the first disc to ship (note - DISC singular, not discs... I thought this was 3 at a time??).
Also, there does not appear to be a rhyme or reason to which titles they do send out. Some titles high in my queue that were 'available' did not ship while another lower that had a waiting period were sent.
I've also tried the netflix trial concurrrenly. I have been very happy with that trial period. Needless to say I will be cancelling BB and sticking with netflix.

I called BlockBuster customer service yesterday. Their phone is busy, but I got lucky after 4 calls and was put on hold for 40+ minutes. Some Indian lady answered the phone and when I explained my frustrtation she asked me "What is Blu-Ray?". :o)
Anyway she suggested me putting titles that were available on the top of my query list. I can see today that my first Blu-Ray movie was sent to me :o).
