Has anyone played with the Helios X3000? What are your thoughts?

How well does the NeoLink Server work?

I like it the X3000 pretty well for what it does. What is does it does pretty reliably.

What it doesn't do is ISO or IFO playback.

I don't use it at all for music, slideshows, or the web/shoutcast stuff. Strictly video.

I wish it had a seek feature like the Z500 does where you can jump to any point in a file. All the X3000 does is fixed 10% increments based on the number key you press on the remote.

I don't use the Neolink software. I use the media server software that is part of my Infrant ReadnyNAS where I store all of my media. Eliminates the need to rely on a PC being on and running some software.

The Neolink software I found to be very good. However, the X3000 I got was sub par. DVD video playback was jittery and the remote didn't function very well at all. Hopefully just down to a bad unit rather than inherent flaws.
