I just have to ask this...

I have been soing my best to keep up with all the posts on this forum as well as one or two others (each with much lower volumes) and, to that end, have been doing a fairly good job. The last three days have proven difficult as a result of a combination of (i) business travel and (ii) lack of internet acess.

This leads to my question -- having just earlier today gotten internet acess I decided to catch up on the postings/threads of interest that I missed and have spent the last two housr doing nothing but reading...I am therefore interested as to how other contributors/readers keep up when (i) they have no internet access (ii) they are on vacation (iii) etc.

Looking forward to yoru feedback...

Love vacation, hate having to catch up on the AVS forums! It's tough enough when I'm not on vacation

End up skimming a bit to catch up.

There's seven years of bad AV luck if you dont read every thread in its entirety. :)

Here are some methods that I use...

Go to the PDA Text View (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/archive/index.php/?pda=1) page and then click on any forum there. The threads in that forum will be listed by title in the order when they were started (i.e., according to the first post, not the last post), with the most recent one listed at the top. Remember which thread is at the top, so the next time you visit, you will see any new threads have been started since that one. This way, you don't miss any new threads.

If you find a thread that you are interested in, subscribe to it. Later, go to your Subscribed Threads (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/subscription.php?do=viewsubscription&folderid=all) page, which lists them in the order when the last post was made. Remember the last time you visited, and open the subscribed threads that have new posts since then.
