I've been in the beta for several weeks now.

This game is fun! I can't wait to get into it more. They sent my invitation tonight and I got online with it. WOOO HOOO! This could be a sleeper hit!

This is the first I've heard of it. How did you guys apply?

At least they say that they're going to ramp up invite numbers after the first patch, which should be soon.

That's the main reason I'm religiously checking my junk mail folder these days. :cool:

I have been. I've also been checking the connect.microsoft.whateveritis participation listings and it still says beta selection process as opposed to beta testing.

after playing the beta for a few days now I must say that I really like the graphics and all the different magic and tech abilities you can use. Im still not sure if this is a day one purchase for me as it willl have the halo 3 beta, mass effect, and forza 2 also vying for my attention but Shadow Run is a very solid fps and anyone picking it wont be disappointed.

Just received an invite, what are people's thoughts after playing for a while?

I don't like it. It feels like a gimmicky FPS (ala Perfect Dark Zero), and I'm somewhat burned out on the genre. Nonetheless, everyone else seems to rave about how awesome the game is, so I'm sure folks who are genre fans will enjoy it.

I thought when you guys are beta testers you can't talk about it publicly since you are bound to the NDA??????????

NDA was lifted about two or three weeks ago.

I'm still waiting for my invite. Signed up 11/27/06.

it's decent. I didnt get in but my buddy did in Jan, so I've played by him a few times.

NDA has been lifted and the beta is over at the end of this month with a demo in May hopefully.

I hear FPS peeps like it the most. general gamers havent been that excited. and some people just luv to hype anything just as others like to bash anything.

Looks ok, but how many games like this can a person play? ugh!

apparently enough for them to keep making so many... plus this is a break through game as people can finally battle controller vs kb&m. :rolleyes:
