:eek: I have a Panasonic CT27SF31 36" CRT thats around 5 years old and have been noticing an increasing shrinking of the video from the left and right sides of the screen.I first noticed the squeezing which started on the right side and now it`s also appearing on the left. I`ve gone into the service menu to try to expand the picture back to it`s original size but with no effect.The total amount of lost picture is about an inch on both sides now and it`s slowly increasing weekly.I don`t know enough about servicing an old CRT tv to make a judgment about which part could be going defective and am asking for some ideas on the possible parts involved and the probable cost,and if it would be advisable to repair a CRT of this age. I`d have to have service done in-home due to the sets weight. Hope someone can give me some info. Thanks!
