View Full Version : Is there a size limit on MP4s? 2GB files will not open.

I have been ripping several DVDs for play on my video ipod. After much experimentation with a few different programs I have ripped them in 640x480 as it looks a bit better when blown up. However, when ripped files exceed (it appears) 2GB, they will not open on my PC. I get a "not a valid movie file" error.

Is this really the case or am I doing something incorrect?

Thanks.

You need Windows XP Service Pack 2 or better on an NTFS format hard drive to see/work with files larger than 2Gb.
