This may be old news but Monoprice Cable has a HDMI to M1 cable that works excellent for HDMI sources. I switched from a DVI to this cable and the benefits of picture quality were noticeable even to my wife (she's my benchmark - if she can see it then it's a vast improvement.) Sorry if this is old news.

Black Levels were greatly improved and graininess was less apparent on some movies. It seems the DVI to HDMI adaptors have some effects on picture quality. I'm not sure why but it was noticeable. It doesn't make sense. Anyone have any clues as to why?
