If you like b-action from the 80's, you'll also like this movie. Yes, it was silly and hard to take serious at times, but it was really entertaining.

Yes, it is.

I watched it c/o Netflix last night and found it too be incredibly dumb. The only thing worse than the acting was the script. One funny moment though:

When shooting up the cop car the marine was driving, one of the bad guys says something like "he's like the terminator" and then they cut to Robert Patrick giving a funny look.

PQ was just okay, nothing special.

Rental only, although I will say its kind of a fun movie to watch....once.

I watched the first few minutes and the PQ was really good. I'll watch the rest tonight although I'm expecting it to be a pretty horrible film.

Although I take everything Bracke says with a grain of salt, he states that the opening sequence (the one I watched) looks far better than the rest of the film. That's not encouraging.

I really liked it, the action was actually well done. It has probably the single best one liner/in-joke I've seen in a film in a long time. Its b-movie action, but not bad.

I was pleasantly surprised with the PQ and the movie itself. It was fun and it was a little cheesy but if you expected anything else then your barking up the wrong tree.

Why did I purchase the Marine? Probably just on a whim. I saw the new title, saw it cheaper than normal, and just grabbed it. After watching the movie on regular DVD, this copy is going back to WM.

Maybe worth a rental...but not to buy.

It is so bad that it is great entertainment. The script is really bad but the action sequences are good and overall I found it entertaining. Picture quality is not top tier....maybe middle.

Damn, no good nudity/sex scenes! What were they thinking? :D
