Sanyo and Panasonic went head to head for many years in the <3000 forum with matching models released almost simultaneously over several generations starting with AE100's and Z1's. The Panasonic AE1000 has been in this forum for quite a while now with only a little speculation about the Sanyo competing 1080p model and no sign of its appearance. Have Sanyo conceded the high volume 1080p market to Panasonic?
