View Full Version : 'Return of Jericho' on CBS 2/14/07 (Recap Show) DaveFi 02-14-07, 11:53 AM Recap of the first 11 episodes. 12 episode starts up next week. danco 02-14-07, 02:16 PM Thanks for the reminder, Dave. Time to check the DVR... ~Dan Kib 02-14-07, 03:31 PM Oh boy, a clip show !!! Can't get enough of those.... [Actually, as much as I wanted this program to be entertaining and succeed, after about the third week I found myself rooting for whoever dropped the nukes albeit slightly cursing them for missing the disfunctional little burg of Jericho. It only supports my theory that when H-bombs are being tossed about, the best place to be is close enough to read the serial number] NetworkTV 02-14-07, 03:35 PM Oh boy, a clip show !!! Ah, crispy, like Peking Duck  Qixotl 02-14-07, 09:31 PM Did anyone else notice a frame or two of text that was randomly inserted into the middle of this clip episode (during one of those "Hawkins at the laptop" bridge scenes)? It passed by way too fast for me to read, but it looked like an email software screen with the font size way too large. It did not look like a local (WFSB-DT in CT) glitch, but I guess it could have been. I'd love to see a screencap if someone captured the episode. TommyK 02-14-07, 09:50 PM I'm glad it's finally back. Can't wait for the real new episode next week. btw Ongoing Jericho Thread: 'Jericho' On CBS (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=9500491&highlight=jericho#post9500491) Tom Imp 02-15-07, 01:01 AM Did anyone else notice a frame or two of text that was randomly inserted into the middle of this clip episode (during one of those "Hawkins at the laptop" bridge scenes)? It did not look like a local (WFSB-DT in CT) glitch, but I guess it could have been. I'd love to see a screencap if someone captured the episode. I saw it and after numerous attempts to freeze it at the exact millisecond it flashed by, I finally caught it. All it basically said was something about Gray Anderson doing searches and questioning locals. I have no idea why that flashed if it didn't give any info that we haven't already known. Here I was expecting to see a spoiler for the show, possibly related to Hawkins, but it was absolutely nothing. DaveFi 02-15-07, 01:13 AM Oh boy, a clip show !!! Can't get enough of those....Don't nuke the messenger...;) NetworkTV 02-15-07, 12:47 PM The thing I found odd was that there was a real credit roll at the end. CBS didn't squash the credits, reformat them and run promos during the time they were on. It was kind of nice to have just the music and actually be able to read them (unlike when they do the shrunken "flip card" style in the side strip where they run by at lightning speed). Despite being old information, it was nice to get a refresher. So, anyone catch what the morse code messages in the titles said? NetworkTV 02-15-07, 12:50 PM I'm glad it's finally back.
