I just saw my first The Simpsons in HD. Well, I saw the "demo" of it from American Idol
today. They will have the full trailer in HD (2.35:1 OAR) showing right after the
new The Simpsons episode this coming Sunday. God I hope they will at least make

I hope the writing is better in the actual movie then from the clips we've seen.

The clip in the Season 9 DVD set was actually mildly entertaining. Surprising considering I haven't laughed at any Simpsons material since season 10.

The clip in the Season 9 DVD set was actually mildly entertaining. Surprising considering I haven't laughed at any Simpsons material since season 10.
I used to be the biggest Simpsons fan in the Universe...LOL. But after season 9, I started losing respect for the writing. I RARELY laugh when I do watch the Simpsons anymore. The clips they showed on AI were not funny to me at all. I will keep faith though as I'll go see this regardless.

Yeah same, I used to be the biggest fan. I own all the DVD sets, 1-9, but 10 is going to be the last set it buy. The new eps have no wit, they are all about ridiculous antics.
