The refurbs come with the same mfr warranty as a new set. You can purchase extended warranty when you register the product here:

John - I am sure that you are correct about the warranty as you have experience with them but I received a completely different answer from them a couple of months ago. I wrote to customer support in December when I was considering a refurb and couldn't locate the warranty information. They quoted me a 90-day warranty. I ended up going a different direction for a different reason.
