I'm buying a new projector soon and wanted to get some feedback on Mack extended warranties.

1. Does the warranty start on the day the projector is shipped or after the end of the manufacturers warranty?

2. Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) in getting Mack warranty claims?

3. Does anyone have a link to the Mack warranty terms and conditions?

Thanks for your help.

Check out the Texas Tapeworks thread in the AVS Forum Powerbuys and Special Items thread. The warranty is a Mack warranty. I bought it for my 60" XBR2. It starts after the manufacturer warranty ends. I also bought the bulb warranty. It replaces two bulbs over the period.

Apparantly you need to be a member to access the powerbuy specials.

So is Mack a reputable company and do they provide a good extended warrantly without lots of exclusions in the fine print? Any feeback would be appreciated. Thanks,

I'm getting a "you do not have permission to access this page or post here." for that link.

Has it changed recently?
