Never. Been able to record eveything including HBOHD.

"Copy never" is only permitted for VOD and PPV content.

With the motorola DVRs, I've experienced what seems to be a copy never flag (i.e. it would not copy and the Mitsu reported a copy error). I rebooted the box (pull the power cable and plug back in) and it worked.

Who is your service provider and what is your equipment?
