I have a Peerless Encore mount for my Sony VPL VW 11HT. The same mounting plate works with the Ruby. I am upgrading to a Pearl which is on the way. Its an awesome mount (neat, secure, adjustable and quick release) and I am wondering if the same quick release plate will work with the Pearl. Peerless don't have the Pearl listed on their site yet and I have been too busy to call them. Any one know if the Pearl takes the same mount as the Ruby and 11HT?

I'm not familiar with the Peerless mount, but the Chief mount for the Pearl is the same as that for the Ruby. This would imply the hole pattern is the same.

Yes the Encore mount will work from Peerless. Check the mount finder on their website.

Just got he projector and it works! How awesome of Sony to use the same bolt pattern over several generations. Now I can also keep my old projector as an easily installable spare in the event of any problems.
