Lately I am getting a lot of digital interference on lower channels, especially ones like cartoon network and nickoldeon. I am in central Jersey with Comcast Digital service, using the 8000HD box. The higher channels seem to be ok, like the HD versions of the networks and the movie channels. the issues seem to be with channels something like 20-60 or so.

Anyone have any ideas?

What does that mean? Need specifics.

It means when I'm watching lower channels, usually under 100 or so, I am seeing a lot more digital breakup or interference lately. (digital stuttering?) This seems to have gotten worse lately, but most of the upper channels seem to work ok.

I am using comcast cable through a Scientific atlanta 8000HD box.

Not sure how better to describe it.

Does it correlate to anything else happening or is it all the time?

If your TV has a QAM tuner, connect the coax directly to the TV and do a scan and then look for this issue. If it's not there, the issue is probably in the 8000 box. If the same issue is there something's wrong with the incoming signal.
