FOlks....this is the wierdest thing so far I have encountered yet
Here's my problem and specs:
I have Cablevision in North Bergen, NJ. I'm using a SA Explorer 4250HD cable box hooked up to my Panasonic 30WX15 HD TV thru component cables. All my channels are wonderful in HD...HOWEVER, MSG (channel 715) and SNY? (channel 725) does not broadcast at all!
I was originally using an older Explorer SA 4200 box and was able to see these channels but only very intermittently where the image would display, then slightly freeze, then pixelate that blackout, then display, then pixelate again...totally unwatchable. This is what prompted me to return the box in the first place and get the newer one.
The wierd thing is that my other HD TV in my downstairs room displays these 2 channels absolutely fine on my SA 8300 DVR cable box.
As a troubleshooter by nature, this has been baffling me for the last few weeks to try and figure out what is going on. I dont think its due to a weak signal in my upstairs connection because then all the other HD channels would demonstrate issues which they are not. I dont think its the box because this is now the 2nd box that has had an issue with only these 2 channles.
Can anyone else help me out here...Im baffled. Once I recieve some responses, I'll even interject another wierd mix to this dilemma
