Radeon x1950Pro giving me texture corruption..

Could I not be giving it enough juice, or do I need to think about pulling the HSF and putting some Arctic Silver on there.....

This was the same problem I had with my Geforce too.....even at stock speeds I'd get some texture corruption.


In BF2 I get the occasional spotty textures, a flash here or there, or windows in the distance on buildings giving me some flashing. :P

Not noticing it at all in other games...

Whats your ps, mobo ? what are the temps of the card at a full load? is it a new card or have you had it for a while? what kind of case are you using? does it have enough airflow? what are the temp in your case?

Its new, and I only notice a problem on BF2 which, as I recall, has always been problematic for users in one way or another so I'm not too concerned (not seeing it in other games).

P4 running at 3.45Ghz at 1.6volts (northwood 3.0 core), Antec Truepower 430 been running good for about 2 years. Feeding 2 7200RPM HD's, the X1950 and a single DVD burner.
