I'm using TWC (formerly Adelphia) in Campton, NH.

I'm noticing that when I watch HD content I'm getting some of the image clipped off the screen. For example, with I'm watching Fox 25, I can only see about half their logo in the bottom right corner of the screen.

At first I thought maybe I wasn't missing much. Then I got a DVI to component adapter for my PC, ran it at 1280x720 to the TV and realized I was missing a lot more than I thought. To make things work right without losing any display area I actually need to run the output to the TV at 1152x648.

I don't have the OEM remote for the Philips TV, and I'm not sure that it had any adjustments to begin with, but is there anyway I can either adjust the H-size & V-size using the TV, so my cable and PC images are all there at 1280x720, or maybe do it with the SA 8300HD so my cable will be all there at 720P, and I can keep the PC at 648P?

Such adjustments are typically made through the service menu. Look at the CRT area of this forum and see if there is a thread dedicated to your particular model, where you might find instructions on how to do that.

Might have missed the point in the query, but assume your 8300HD isn't in zoom mode, usually set by pressing the remote's # key. -- John
