Almost all titles from:

Amazon.com

Most consistent pricing, plus 10% discount thanks to last year's promo.

Easy ordering (no hunting around store to store), free shipping, no tax. Selection for some titles is a little slow compared to release dates, but that doesn't worry me - I can wait if needed (but most are available the same date as the stores).

I've purchased one title (the MissionImpossible I/II/III set) from Walmart. Plus I got two titles from Robert at VE when I ordered my A2. I think everything else is from Amazon.

Target- 1
Buy.com-2
Amazon.com-3
cduniverse.com-2
circuit city-1
dvdplanet.com-1
bestprices.com-1
newegg.com-1

Most of these were either with google checkout or with some other sort of coupon/discount. I tend to just shop around and see who has the best price.

If I want it quick, hdmoviesource because I get it in 2 days tops for only a couple bucks shipping and I don't pay tax, but only if the price is decent, some of their movies are really expensive. Their CS is really good.

Otherwise, deepdiscountdvd, but it fricking takes like two weeks sometimes to get a movie. Whatever, it's cheap.

Newegg seems good, never ordered from them, their shipping used to rock, fedex 2 day for everything, know it's just like everywhere else.

I don't like amazon because they charge tax and if I want to get one film, it's usually not over their free shipping limit.

I like target, I can walk to it from where I live, their prices are good, their selection sucks.

You could have bought a standalone BD player with the price differential between Best Buy and Amazon. :p

It was, Best Buy until I realized they are much cheaper even with shipping from online stores. So now its
Target.com
Walmart.com
Plus I can get gift cards to pay for them instead of charging them to my credit card. My wife likes that part of it.

I have purchased almost 20 titles so far... my first player is out for delivery right now.. Yeah, I know...

Anyway, I bought the bulk of them at deepdiscount.com but once I found out that my hardware was coming before my software I picked up a few at Best Buy and one last night at Meijer. Waiting on hand I have King Kong, Breakfast Club and Waterworld. Should be enough to get started. I suspect I will watch Breakfast Club tonight as my first movie.

The bulk are from either amazon.com or just from futureshop in store. I've bought one HD DVD title from walmart because their selection sucks.

I bought almost all of my HD-DVD and BD titles from Amazon.com. I did buy a few from Buy.com with Google deal and at Best Buy with 2-for-1 deal. Usually Amazon has the best prices with their 10% off deal, no tax and free shipping. If you buy a lot, then Prime option might be a good deal too. I use Netflix and don't mind waiting a little longer for purchase via media mail, so I cancelled before paying the $79.

Try using http://www.dvdpricesearch.com to find the best prices.

I wish we had a Fry's in the DC area. Seems like they have great deals from time to time.

About 90% from amazon... a few from DVDPlanet due to their trade-in program... and a couple locally (Best Buy and Target).

Amazon's got everyone beat overall, especially with the Prime membership thing going, and the 10% off their already-competitive prices.

At first, I used to drive around to the different Super Walmarts and Targets around me to see what HD-DVDs they had. I only bought a couple from Best Buy due to Gift cards I received. Once I noticed that the Targets and Walmarts weren't stocking anything new, I was about to order from Amazon. Until I passed a new store in a new plaza. It was Moviestop and I no longer have to go anywhere else for my HD-DVDs. They had all the new HD-DVDs in addition to all the ones previously released. And for the same prices as Amazon!! Plus they let me preorder any new ones coming out in the future. I probably bought 13 that day and 15 the next time. I am supremely happy with them.
