Setup:

Outlaw 1070 Receiver
5.1 Axiom Speakers (Powered Sub)
SA 3250HD Cable Box

I have enjoyed my 1070 for quite some time but have had an issue with it recently. When I hook up my 5.1 Axiom system it sounds great!. I can hook up my dvd (OPPO 981HD) player and xbox and do not have an issue with it. Yet when I hook up my SA Explorer 3250 to Outlaw 1070 I get feedback through the sub.. constant feedback. This is when I coonect the sa 3250 via component or DVI. DO you know of any reason why this is occuring. It seems to be feedback that is traveling to the sub...

On further investigation... the feedback only occurs when the coax cable is connected to the box. As well if I connect the video straight to the tv it sends feed back to my receiver then to the sub through another connection.

You have a grounding problem. Call the cableco and tell them to fix the ground. Or, you might be able to break the loop by using an optical connection (instead of coax) between the cable box and your audio system.
