WCSN will take advantage of Granite's digital spectrum in eight major markets, including San Francisco, Detroit, and Buffalo, to secure carriage on the local cable operators' digital basic line up. The 24/7 channel, delivering comprehensive coverage of over 60 sports disciplines, from Athletics (Track & Field), Skiing, Swimming, Gymnastics and Cycling to Volleyball, Karate and Taekwondo, will launch beginning in 2007 on the Granite stations, reaching almost 1.5 million digital subscribers.
