Hi all,
Running an Moome xg dvi card in my xg 135lc, and finding my gamma way too low, would adjusting the black levels in the white balance menu work for increasing gamma?
any other solutions?
Thanks

In theory a master NEC tech can recalibrate things internally and improve the gamma. I am no master tech but I recalibrated my XG several times, oscilloscope and all, and I never had any luck with it.
My recommendations: If you are close to LA you can have Doug (The NEC Wizard) recal it and hope it's better. If not, you can buy a Crescendo Systems Gamma/Transcoder box. Everybody seems pretty happy with those.

If you decide to try it write all your reference white balance setting down before hand so you can move them back if it doesnt help your problem.
There are many things that can affect low end detail including source settings and hardware or it can just need a tune up. Doug
