Is it possible to de-stick some of the stickys in the HDTV Software, Blu-ray Players, Blu-ray Software, HD DVD Players, and HD DVD Software forums? Seems a bit overcrowded and causes me (and I'm sure others) to just scroll down past them everytime I visit the forum. And that kind of defeats the purpose of a sticky, doesn't it? ;) A sticky is supposed to be a quick reference that stands out amongst the other threads correct? With so many I feel it may be having the opposite effect.

They are used for a number of reasons. The major one in this case it to keep down the number of duplicate threads on the same topic. Yes, it can get excessive at time, but it is based on current hot topics. (And sometimes special notices we need to post in the areas.)
