Hi, first post here. I was directed on another forum to post my question here.

I'm trying to find a TV for my son. Mainly to play video games, but I would also like it to be a HDTV, higher res. the better.

Here's the tricky part:

Looking for something in the range of 27"-32", CRT or flat panel is fine. But I also want it to have a cablecard slot. I have cable fed to his room, and I'd like for him to be able to get digital and HD channels. I'd rather not push analog to it, and I'd rather not have/rent a cable STB.

I have seemingly searched all sorts of online retailers, but there does not seem to be a cablecard TV in this space. The Samsung SlimFit models would be perfect, but they have no cablecard slot.

Anybody here ever seen such a TV? Thanks in advance.

Try to find a used KD-34XBR960. That's the only TV that has cable card in your range.

Sony 30XS955 - about the smallest and cheapest set with CC you'll find - if you can find one.
