This ad on craigslist caught my eye and I figured it might be possible to easily fix it. Here's what the ad states:
"This is a RCA High Def DLP Television, Model # HD61LPW165. Only about a year and a half old. Doesn't display the picture for some reason, but you can hear the sound. Might be an easy fix if you know what your doing. Cost new was between $2800-$3200. Asking $300/obo. Trades considered depending on what you offer."
I'm assuming a bulb replacement might fix the problem but I really don't know what else could be wrong with the unit. Since you guys are the professionals, I figured you might be able to recommend something for me. Would be a killer deal to get this and a new bulb for ~$500.
Also, where do you guys purchase new bulbs?
