I am using the component output from my video player connected to Input B on my Sony D50 projector. My DVD player allows for upconverting up to 1080i over the component output. When I setup the projectors B input for component I get no picture. When I set the input to RGB I get a good picture but it does not allow for adjustment of the color, contrast or hue. I have changed the output of the DVD to 480, 480p, etc with the same results. Does anyone have a clue why the component setting on the input will not work?

I'm guessing that the D50 will accept Y Cb Cr component and not Y Pb Pr. They are different signals. You can find it at -http://www.curtpalme.com/SonyD50_Downloads.shtm
