I'm new here, and scanned the FAQ's in tthis thread, but didn't notice an answer to my question.

I'm trying to view a thread on the site with over 500 pages of responses. I got as far as page 80 or so and then quit for the night. The next mornnig I wanted to get back in the thread and jump to page 80 in the thread (or to the post number close to that page), but I don't see that option on the screen.

All I see is the option to view the first 5 pages of the thread and then an arrow to the last page of the thread. What am I missing? On other forums you can select either the post number or page number and jump to it. Otherwise I have to keep clicking the next page arrow 80 times to get back where I was.

Help a newbie please. Thanks.

Welcome to the site. THe next time you click on the next page, take a look at the URL in the browser bar at the top. You will see it states a page number. Just change that to the page you would like to jump to and you should be all set.
