I have this unit from At&T(2wire):
..ok..can't post a pic..(it's the homezone DVR unit)
it's no longer hooked up to my Tv..but i would like to copy the stuff off the DVR to my PC.
I have a av/tv tuner card installed...was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions..short of removing the internal HD.

The only answer that has anything to do with DVD Recorders is to record the stuff from the DVR to a DVD Recorder. Once it's on DVD you can do what you want with it.

might want to check the HTPC area, they may be able to provide a better answer.

Sounds like you will need a capture device for your PC (USB, Internal, etc)....then play back and capture in real-time.
