I kept hearing all of these horrible stories about best buy and it finally happened to me in AZ phx. I didnt even go in asking about HD, all I did was ask if they have any Wii's and he said no and then said the ps3 and 360 suck in comparsion to them. I said I had a 360 and it really isn't that bad and he actually tried to tell me that the 360 cant do digital audio out of the box but the ps3 can. Now I dont know if the ps3 comes with a digital audio cable, but I told him without a shadow of a doubt that YES the 360 is capable.
Then he says(after 5mins of telling me no) "well ok you can....but you have to buy expensive cables to do it".....I then told him I bought mine for 10 dollars at frys. Then he goes on about blu ray and hd dvd (which really doesnt have anything to do with 360 vs ps3 console war wise) and says blu ray is better because its 50gb and hd dvd is 9. I laughed out loud in front of him and told him to go and check the hd dvd boxes. It went on and on....telling me the xbox is 7billion in the hole...which I thought it was 4....and that xbox is going to screw everything with a new hdmi xbox. Honestly I really stopped listening to him when he said 360 can't do digital audio.
This is really sad but it is what is happening. I normally dont post unles something really gets on my last nerve. I mean I would be surprised if he could find is nose with his finger. I've never worked at best buy but I have tried...lol....what is the screening process for these people? Its fine if they want to be bias....everyone has the right....but its not ok to be spreading these lies whether he knows it or not.
