I currently am overwhelmed in looking for a new HDTV. This whole 1080P, 1080P native mode, HDMI 1.3, VGA, etc..... is driving me crazy.

I would like to get a TV that will work with Xbox360, 360 HD DVD, WII component cable, original xbox with component cables, future PS3 (Blu-Ray), computer media center, and Sat set top box with HD TV. I would like to get the best picture quality. My game of choice right now is Gears of War. I would like a TV set that there is little to NO lag in that game or any other time sensitive game.

I would like to get a TV that will be used mostly for gaming and secondly for watching HD/Blu-Ray movies. This TV i hope would last me for 8 + years. I do not want to spend over $3500 either.

For you experts, what 60+ inch HDTV should i buy?

no expert here, but the Samsung HLS-6188 is very friendly with the xbox 360 and comes with a decent price tag.
