Right now I've been using the current version of Apple's Firewire SDK 23 developer's package to record HD programming to my mac. I have a Samsung HDTV with a built in tuner and was thrilled when I learned that I could use my mac to emulate as a DVHS. I found out that I can record channels that come in on the first channel just fine, such as 4-1, 13-1, etc. However, when I try to record programs on anything other than the first digital channel, I do record a bits and packages. However, it doesn't show resolution, etc. When I have finished recording, it is possible to play the data using VLC, but I'm unable to use the Virtual DVHS app to play the file back because it reads it as no data.

Any suggestions would be of great help.
