I just bought The Departed, and it would not play in my player......

I have the 360 HDDVD add-on. It will not read the disc. This happened when I bought the Mission Impossible trilogy, one of the discs would not be recognized. I am pretty sure that this is not a player issue, as I took the discs into work with me and neither the Toshiba A1 or A2 will recognize the discs either. I talk to a lot of people i work with who have HD set-ups and they have never had this issue, but it has happened to me twice now.

Are any of you guys having an issue from time to time with faulty discs??

I exchanged the HD DVD both times and the new one worked.

I had a problem with Clerks 2, I returned the non working copy the following day for exchange and the second disc would not play. Stumped, I downloaded the firmware update and voila, the second copy of Clerks 2 played just fine. Other than that isolated issue I have had no problems with my player.

So far I've been lucking. All my discs have played. A few bugs here and their but second veiwing offen yeilded better results.
