You're better off light-piping into a decent receiver/speaker system from iTunes.
If you need an all-in-one solution that will only do iPod and nothing else and is not very portable then sure, why not.
However, I am confused why you are posting this in Car Audio. If you want car audio then get yourself an iPod-ready head unit from Pioneer, JVC, Eclipse, Alpine, Blaupunkt or whoever fits your fancy. If you want to keep your factory head unit there are hard-wired solutions from USA Spec, Peripheral, Dension, Blitz-Safe, Pie, PAC, and a multitude of others.
