Hi guys, im a bit of a noob here so here goes. I just received my Oppo 981 and have 4 questions.

1) I was watching an animation(My Neighbor Totoro) on my 1080p 52" Sony Bravia which runs in 1.85:1 Widescreen. When it's on 480p it' filling the entire screen, but when i set the Oppo to 720p, 1080i and 1080p the screen shrinks a bit and i get borders all around the picture....this only seemed to happen to this disc.....the other movies i tested run perfectly fine on all modes.

2) Is it true that the Oppo 970 displays better 1080i compared to the 981?

3)For some reason 1080i looks sharper than 1080p on my 1080p Bravia....what's up with that?

4) Is it possible to switch between 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p without having to stop the disc and change mode? it's harder for me sometimes to see the difference between different outputs that way.

DRC is disabled in 480p. 720p, 1080i and 1080p
