Folks,

I just Bought a Onkyo 704b which is region 1 ( US/Canada) and I need to play some Brazilian DVDs.

I know that is possible to unlock the drive to play all the regions , however I looked everywhere and so far I did not find anything.

The player is pretty new , this may be the reason however I'd like to ask for some help here.

Does anyone knows the process or can help me with that?

Multi-Region Hack:

Press the Open button on your DVD-player to Open the drive tray
Using the remote press 9, 9, 9 and 9 on your remote control
Press the 1 button on your remote control for region 1, 2 for region 2, and so on, or 9 for multi-region
Press OK and the tray will close
Reset the unit by powering Off and then back On again
GOOD LUCK

hmm...but without a TV that can display PAL there's no point in doing this, right?
