It's CC's own model of the Mitsubishi. I think it's closest to the 731, but am not exactly sure (you can google it to find out). I think the Mitz owners are generally happy with their sets... you can skim or search through the Mitz thread to find out. Personally, I think they give a good picture.
You can also get a Samsung HL-S5687 for that price or less. And actually, I got an HL-S5688 for less than that.

I have had that set for two months now and I am very happy with it.
There is also a coupon for another $150 off on there web site.

The Y model sits right between the 731 and the 732's. I managed to get HHGregg to pricematch my 732 to the Circuit City model. Give it a shot- not that the Y57 is bad, but the 732 adds a few more adjustments, and I think one more component input.

The YD-57 is specific to CC and is essentially a WD-57731. Most importantly, the YD-57 lacks the DarkDetailer (or iris) found in the WD-XX732 line and above. Samsung's HL-S line and Sony's SXRD line have this feature standard. The lack of an iris will make a big differernce in PQ, especially in contrast ratio and black level, and the PQ of the 57732 will be superior.
See details here: http://www.mitsubishi-tv.com/j/i/19498/KeyFeaturesbyModel.html?mid=81873
FYI: I was in hhgregg a couple of days ago and they had the WD-57732 for ~$1860 before tax.

I would avoid it. As an owner of a 732 I can tell you that in doing my research for a TV I found that the Circuit City TV's lack some features that will prevent you from getting the most out of the TV. Particularly, the lack of PerfectTint will prevent you from fine tuning the set's colors, and you will therefore not be able to dial in the nearly perfect and accurate colors that the Mits is capable of.
Look/bargain a bit harder, and you should be able to get a 732 for about the same price locally. A bit of a premium will be well worth it.
