Why not get a really good 720P. Resolution by itself does not make for a better picture. Besides the plasma won't be 1080P (at least not under 3K)

The Sony and the Panny (after rebate) 1080p are both hovering around $3500, and it's only February. There's no way they won't be around $3000 by the end of the year, then maybe $2500 by the end of '08, then... ;) Ya gotta love technology!

That's true. I'm expecting the lumen counts to increase significantly next year though. Also specifically waiting for Sanyo to come out with their 1080p projector.
