I was looking into buying a toshiba 50'' plasama. I wont to know if anyone has the goods and bads. My friend keeps talking about panasonic plasmas are good. So i am just looking to find out the pros or cons. Mainly just what you know or if u have one are you satisfied and why? what tvs the best 50'' plasma around 2700 dollars or more or less.
If you want to find out about the Toshiba, the best way to gather that information is for you to run a search of the plasma section for Toshiba. Do a little research and and you'll find a lot out about any plasma.
If you have $2700 to spend, you should be looking at the 50" Pioneer 5070. Check the prices at the AVS Sponsors linked at the top-right -- Plasma Concepts and Invision Displays. You may also want to compare prices at Cleveland Plasma and J&R Music World.
The Panasonic is a good value choice at $1700-$2000. The 58" Panasonic TH-58PX60U 58" plasma recently dropped to a bit over $3000, so that would be the model to look at if your viewing distance is 12' or more. The current Panasonics are being replaced with new 2007 versions in about six weeks, so retailers are starting to clear them out to make room for the new models.

I think Panasonics picture to be real close to the Pioneer and don't consider it a value choice you will enjoy either picture.
