My Sony CRT died today after serving for almost 10 years working for about 16 hours everyday. I'm looking to replace it with a plasma EDTV monitor. This will be placed in the bedroom to watch during night time. I do not want it to have any Tuners or speakers build in. I have all that gear separately. I will be watching mostly SD satellite and DVD content and not HD signal. What make and model would you recommend ? Screen size to be no bigger than 42''
Thanks in advance,
mikevan

Hi I recommend the 42 inch panny TH-42PS9UK. There is a 5 yr warranty special on it as well!! For only $175 more, you can get the 42inch HD model.

Wow... that price is really attractive.
Thanks,
