Any good plans out there for building a case that a projector could stay in for say an outdoor, covered porch? I'd like to be able to keep it outside if possible....what would I need to make sure it had?

I'm trying to figure out the same thing for my back porch...I really don't see how you can avoid some condensation and in the winter I think the cold temperatures could really cause problems.

As of right now I'm just planning to set up the whole thing as portable as possible so I can bring it inside quickly but I would love to hear from people who have set up a permanent outdoor theater.

I'm fine bringing it into the house during the winter etc.....I'm just thinking of keeping it out for like the weekend or something....

Me too! I've got a Pergola over my patio which is perfect for mounting a screen. I'd like to purchase the Screen material (12X9) and build or purchase a casing I can roll it up into and maybe put some grommets at the bottom of the screen for little bungee cords to keep it taut.

I am actually looking for a good portable travel case. And of course one that is not to expensive. :)
