How many minutes over an hour have you been able to burn at XP to a DVD-R blank? This is important for dividing titles at certain length movies or just for single programs that go slightly over an hour.

Not exactly an answer to your question about the Pioneer HoustonGuy, but incidentally, on my Sony HDD less DVD Recorder, I can record right up to 1h03m13s at 10Mbps, (Sony HQ, Pio/Pan XP) onto +RW/+R media when the need arises.

Any answer to your question will only cause frustration in the future because the amount of time will vary depending on the type of content recorded.

Fast-action programs will yield less time, and slow, dark or letterboxed content will typically yield more time because of the way MPEG2 works. (Less changes from frame-to-frame means less key-frames. Less info to store = more available recording time per DVD.)
