I`m moving all the gear downstairs to a new built home theatre. But I now have the issue of not being able to have the speakers and the recommended heights for optimal listening. Lets be honest hear, how much am I going to lose if anything? Its all movies and tv, so music is a non factor. Say my fronts are basically hitting me in the chest and not above ear level....

That might be a problem since they will be on non tiliting stands....I`ll have to look once the screen is up what to do. My big scare is if I can wall mount em that they might be too close to an outside window.....

Wedge a couple of doorstops under them. Attach with velcro if you're concerned with them falling off.

Try to get them (especially the tweeters) to have a straight shot at your ear for best results.
