I'm looking for a high-ish end media streamer. I've read that orb has a server which should dish up any network accessible music to a PS-3. Since the PS-3 seems to have the latest hardware and is a cheap way to get a blu-ray drive, it seemed like a possible solution.

I've read only a bit of this forum and now know that I'm way behind on my media streamer knowlege. Can anyone suggest a good FAQ or information location to get myself up to speed ? In general, I'd like to find either a media streamer or like device that can access mostly music but perhaps stored video on an NAS which is sounds like everyone else in this forum is also doing.

I have a Slim Devices Squeeze box which does much of what I want, but it limits audio quality somewhat to the CD sampling rates so if I get higher resolution SACD or DVD-Audio (or whatever sound comes on blu-ray if it ever does) I'm a bit behind the state of the art even for a few years ago. I've heard nothing bot horror stories about the D-Link and Netgear devices and considered a MythTV. But in any case, can any current streamers stream dvd-audio (or other 96/192kHz sampled audio) ?

I'd also seen several folks mention the Rhapsody N35. What does that one do that the others don't. Are there other devices out there that 80% of folks are happy with (or anticipating being released) ?
