I recently bought the Velodyne CHT speakers and since they don't come with wires. What should I be getting as far as wire?
They won't have to go any longer than 25ft, so on the safe side, I need no more than 70ft (i know i have to get what's available though).

I think I can use 14gauge for my setup right?
If so, I can just get 2 rolls of this right?

Do I need anything else to connect the speakers to a receiver?

Thanks in advance for the help.

14 ga will be fine. You could probably even use 16 ga for runs under 25 ft.

I have CHTs too - they are nice speakers. I got 14ga at Lowes for $25/100ft.

You mean banana plugs? I think that is just preference. I just stripped the wire and put the wire ends into the speaker terminals, no plugs. If you think its cool to have plugs then that is fine too, but I don't think it does anything performance-wise.
