Hey guys, sorry if this was already said, I was wondering which DVD player has superior picture and audio for the price. I know the Denon is a little bit more expensive, but is it any better? I also hear that the Denon has some problems with audio and reduces the LFE signal making it around -10dB's quieter.

Don't feel to bad, I asked a similar question. Should I replace my Samsung 960 with the Denon 1930CI and I got no responses either.

If you do a search, there is some discussion and some good comparison screen shots between the 971 and Denon 1930CI. Of course, the 971 doesn't upscale to 1080p like the Denon.
