I am interested in this box to maybe replace my DSM-320 and a Maxtor NAS on my network.

I would like to use something with a built in hard drive (at least 500GB) because I am getting studdering sometimes using the DSM-320 wirelessly and it is impossible for me to hook that player to the network with a wired connection. I would imagine that HD would be very tough over a wireless connection.

A few questions for those in the know:

1) Can this device be installed on my wireless network? In other words, could I download content directly to the Sarotech over my wireless network?

2) Can it also be used as an NAS on my wireless network to serve content to another DSM-320 that is also on the network?

3) Is the new firmware upgrade easy to accomplish and is it necessary?

4) Does this player handle subtitles?

5) Is there any other player out there that may work better for me besides the Sarotech?

6) Is this unit better or worse than than the Mediagate MG-350HD? What makes it so?

Thanks.

Hi David

Where do you read DVP-570HD is wireless capable ? - It is NOT !

DVP-370Vx is wireless, as you can read on SAROTECH webside:
http://www.sarotech.com/english/cgi/pd.cgi?cmd=view&rno=21

For me, it's not a problem, but if you need that ...

Even though the DVP-570HD does not have wireless built in, I assume that I could connect it to a wireless access point and could then put in on my existing wireless network?
