I have a PB10-ISD and was wondering if adding another would be worth the money? My wife wants to know what want for our anniversary so this is what i was going to tell her? Is it worth the money for the increase or should i go with another model SVS What are the pro's and con's of adding another PB10?
TIA

Stacking them one right on top of the other will offer a +6db boost in headroom.
Dual subs, no matter what brand, are always worth the extra money because of the performance gain.
My vote....do it, you'll be happy. As soon as I have the money I'll be adding a 2nd subwoofer to my setup putting them in the same corner.
Definitely! I have run two PB-10s for several months now and love them. I originally purchased one just to try for fun as a temporary solution until I got my next dream sub. I really liked the performance for the money, unreal. I was so impressed I got another. The second really made an appreciable difference to my system. At some point in the near future I will be replacing them, but in the meantime I am very happy with their performance.
Go for it, you can always send it back within 45 days. After that you can always sell it off.
jpmst3, do you have them stacked or separated?

If you have the space for the next model up, consider the PB12-NSD as an option.
I know of one case where after an SVS demo/GTG, a person decided to sell his pair of PB10s and get a PB12-NSD. If I were in your position, and return shipping to SVS is not too high from your location, I'd try a PB12-NSD first and see what you think.

I have mine side by side in the corner behind my TV center.
Hey thanks for the info, i may just go with two then. I was thinking maybe a pb12 but i think it will look cooler with two subs:-)
I honestly think there is no way you will be disappointed. In my experience with subs with smaller drivers (< 18") two sound better than one. Two subs seem to give a more visceral impact.

I inquired about this with Stephen a couple of months ago, and he told me 2 PB10's, even without co-locating them, would equal a PB12+. Plus, this will allow to hopefully smooth out any room modes you may have.
Considering the PB12 Plus is $1049 shipped, and the PB10 is ~475 shipped, and you could probably get ~$300-340 for your current PB10, you are saving about $300 by buying another PB10.
I would still opt for the two PB-10s if you have the space. Believe it or not they have the smoothest frequency response of any of the SVS subs, the PB-10 and SB-12 are the best in that category.
