So it is an Oppo 971? Since then the 970 and 981 have been introduced.

On my 1080 display, the 971 shows a small amount of underscan: about 5 pixels on the left and 10
on the right.. Is this what you see? I don't think there is any way to correct that.

i noticed a 1/2" black bar across the top on my 970, i emailed oppo on this, and they sent me a firmware update, no problems anymore.
