Hi all,

I have an infinity PS10 subwoofer that always beeps when it goes from from standby to on. Whenever I turn on the system in beeps, then also later if it for some reason goes into standby and comes back on.

I've tried it with two receivers (Pioneer Elite and an Yamaha), and it's the same with both of them.

Does anyone know why this happens? Is there something I can do to make it stop?

It is just the amp powering on. Anytime an electrical field builds or decays it can cause a turn on thump, squeal. I have an old Adcom stereo power amp that sounds like it is farting when you power it off. No big deal.
